Welcome To Buxton Sub Aqua Club
Established in 1977, Buxton Sub Aqua Club is dedicated to supporting its members in exploring the diverse facets of diving. As an affiliate of the British Sub Aqua Club, we adhere to proven training methods. Governed by an elected committee and its members, our non-profit club is sustained by reasonable subscriptions, pool fees, and equipment rental.
Every Wednesday, we gather at Buxton Swimming Pool, with a warm welcome starting around 7:40 pm. With over 40 years of operation, our club boasts lively characters, experienced instructors, and a variety of boats and equipment. Whether you’re gearing up for a tropical holiday, seeking qualification updates, or simply fancy a try dive, we’re here for you. To join us, you just need to be 10 years of age or older, physically fit, and capable of swimming 50m.
For those interested in organising a try dive, please reach out via the contact form available here. Our pool sessions commence at 8:00 pm, last just under an hour, and are followed by a gathering at the local pub.
